...this final collection has been inspired by 'Gloucestershire Cathedral' and its floral masonry. The huge variety of floral shapes within the walls, floors and ceilings were all incredibly inspiring!

To begin, initial research through constant visits, photography and primary drawings helped to create a starting point for my textiles...

...by going back to the cathedral each time, I was able to see and discover new aspects that inspired my designs...
...then from these initial drawings and images, I was able to begin the design process and create some repeat print and fabric manipulation ideas..
